In3 is a socially responsible alternative to Buy Now Pay Later solutions and is offered by over 7.500 online shops in the Netherlands. With in3, customers easily pay in three instalments - without a loan, interest or BKR registration. The installment payment method is ideal when buying more expensive products including electronics, furniture or sports items such as a bike or scooter. With in3, you increase your webshop's conversion rate and increase the average order amount of your shopping basket
How does it work?
- In the webshop, the customer chooses in3 to pay in instalments. Once the data in the check-out is complete, in3 will test the customer's creditworthiness in a split second
- When approved, customers pay the first instalment immediately. After a successful first payment, you can ship the order without running any risk. As a webshop, you are guaranteed to receive the total purchase amount
- After the first payment, the customer receives an email with the payment details for the second and third instalment. 30 days after the first payment, the customer pays the second instalment and after 60 days the final instalment is paid, without interest or BKR registration
The payment method in3 does not require an AFM license or credit registration with Stichting BKR due to the statutory payment term that takes place within 90 days. To prevent excessive lending, customers get a spending limit that matches their spending habits. It is therefore not required to display the warning 'Caution: borrowing money costs money' in your webshop to customers.
